All eyes were turned on the first of Royal Caribbean's Quantum Ultra Class cruise ships which entered Cyprus’ waters
One of the largest cruise ships in the world recently entered Cyprus’ waters, giving thousands of passengers onboard the opportunity to experience the cosmopolitan city of Limassol. ‘Odyssey of the Seas’ then set sail from Limassol port on its ongoing journey to the Greek Islands and Italy, following its summer itinerary for 2023 in Europe.
The cruise ship was welcomed by journalists across Cyprus who had the opportunity to board the game-changing ship holding nearly 5,000 passengers!

There’s a plethora of eateries for the tasting and it is hard to find an appetite they don’t quite cover; a grab-and-go Mexican snacks at El Loco Fresh, Manhattan steakhouse-style meats and music and Chop’s Grille, an opportunity to disappear down the rabbit hole at an Alice-inspired Wonderland. During his presentation of the ship, CEO of the only cruise specialist in Cyprus, Century Travel Group and cruise.com.cy, Mr. Daniel Essex, noted the benefits of cruising for Cypriot travellers, explaining that a cruise lets you experience all of the destinations you’ve always dreamed of and discover new treasures along the way. Mr. Essex also noted that it is forecasted that cruise passenger numbers this year will not only meet but exceed pre-pandemic levels by the end of 2023.
